My Counseling Services

Integrative Psychotherapy|New York, Vermont, Massachusetts & Montana

As a licensed psychologist providing psychotherapy and consultation in New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Montana, I support adults navigating emotional, physical, and situational challenges with an approach that blends traditional psychotherapy with mindfulness-based and body-centered interventions. My practice is ideally suited for individuals who seek deeper healing, greater self-understanding, and more effective tools to meet the complexity of modern life.

Whether you're struggling with stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, chronic health issues, or simply feeling out of alignment with yourself or your values, therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and restore connection. I provide virtual therapy sessions to clients across these four states, as well as in-person counseling in Bozeman, Montana, depending on availability.

A Mind-Body Approach to Therapy

My integrative approach draws on decades of experience as a clinician, educator, and scholar in mind-body medicine, interpersonal neurobiology, and cultural psychology. I help clients cultivate awareness of their internal states—emotional, cognitive, and somatic—so they can better regulate stress responses, navigate strong emotions, and feel more grounded in their bodies and relationships.

This work is particularly valuable for those living with chronic stress, autoimmune conditions, chronic pain, somatic symptoms, or a history of trauma. Using a combination of psychodynamic therapy, developmental neuroscience, and attachment-focused interventions, I support clients in healing from early wounding, repairing relational patterns, and building internal safety and resilience.

Incorporating evidence-based somatic modalities including Focusing, Hakomi, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), my sessions emphasize self-awareness, emotional integration, and the restoration of a felt sense of ease and vitality. Over time, clients experience improved emotional regulation, cognitive clarity, immune health, and interpersonal connection.

Specialized Support for Medical and Multicultural Concerns

Many clients come to therapy with chronic illness or medical diagnoses that affect their quality of life and sense of identity. I welcome this work and bring deep expertise in psychosomatic medicine, stress physiology, and the psychological impact of illness and healing. My approach is collaborative and holistic, addressing not just symptoms, but the full person.

I also maintain a diverse, inclusive practice with a strong foundation in multicultural counseling. I work with individuals from a wide range of cultural, spiritual, and professional backgrounds—including clients navigating complex identities, systemic barriers, and culturally specific stressors.
